The men and women of Elm Ridge Police Department are dedicated professionals who are proud to serve the Elm Ridge Water Control Improvement District communities, which include the Savannah, ArrowBrooke and Artesia neighborhoods. As a department, we focus on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which we serve. We estimate that we serve a population of over 17,000 citizens and that number continues to grow. Our staff includes twenty-one sworn, full time police officers, two civilian staff members and several volunteers.
The members of the Elm Ridge Police Department value the trust of our citizens and will perform our duties by following the core values of empathy, integrity, service, and transparency. Through partnerships and collaborative efforts, we will strive to enhance the safety and security within our community.
We invite and encourage our community members to take the opportunity to participate in public safety events, including neighborhood watch programs, citizen ride along program, national night out, neighborhood safety committees, vacation watch program, bike safety program, Police Explorers, Citizen’s Police Academy, and fraud prevention presentations.
